We popped out for burgers. The restaurant was right at the start of the Sentosa Boardwalk. The lights were so pretty in the dark we wandered a little way down it. It's only a 5 -15 minute walk in total. We strolled out about 3/4 of the way.

The kids were thrilled to see the Merlion lit at night with it's changing colours. Then I realized that at 8 pm, Sentosa does a "Crane Dance" over the water. I wasn't sure would see anything, or even really what it was, but we figured we should hang around for the short while to see. I noticed an amazing patio at The Wine Company out there.
We saw a few fireworks go off to grab our attention, and then a "Transformer" came out of the water.
"One shall stand, and one shall fall". Optimus Prime
Seriously, Universal Studios has Transformers. And I there was a huge metal moving object unfolding from the water. Actually there were 2. It was not the Transformers; it was the start of the crane dance.
It was positively lovely! Lights and water and music with Resorts World Sentosa as the background. We could see it clearly from the boardwalk. It was a weeknight so there were just a few other couples around watching the show too. If you were on Sentosa, there's free amphitheatre seating and your view would be across the water. We just pulled up a piece of the Boardwalk and sat ourselves down there.

The show ended with a few fireworks and Ms.E leaned close with a "This is the best night ever". Ms.I liked the show, but was not impressed with the fireworks, and said "I wanna go home now." Which we did.

Pretty good for just strolling home on a Thursday night. Reminds me a bit of Disney World and how I always see the Electric Water Pageant accidentally. Jonathan asked, "Dream come true?", and I felt a little weepy.
