Our room included complementary breakfast for 2 in the Tiffin Room. They call this a semi-buffet in Singapore. You order from the menu as much and as many times as you want, and they plate it from the kitchen to eliminate the Covid risk of a bunch of food out in buffet style.
We could have paid for everyone else to join us, but our Helper suggested that we go down for a quiet breakfast just the two of us. It was our last meal without the kids for who knows how long.
When the kids woke up, our Helper made them breakfast in the room. There was fruit and bread and granola bars and lots of snacks with us. I was preparing for the chance that our flight in less than 24 hours wouldn't have food we could/would eat.

Breakfast had just opened when we arrived at the Tiffin Room, so we were some of the first people seated.
They helped us out with gluten free and also dairy free options. I could have gotten gluten free pancakes, but they were also bringing us a gluten free/dairy free bread basket, so instead I ordered sausages, bacon and baked beans - a very British breakfast. We also got a fruit plate. I really enjoyed my large pot of tea.

The Tiffin Room is beautiful, like everywhere else in the hotel. Tiffin refers to the stacked Tiffin carriers on display, which originated in India and are commonly used throughout Asia as a food carrier or lunch box. At night The Tiffin Room serves Indian food, which is what we did for our 12th wedding anniversary dinner.

Jonathan got the Raffles Omelette, seasoned with coriander leaf and masala spices. After breakfast we needed to check out of the hotel.
