There's a little resort island right across from our new place. It's full of restaurants, hotels, Universal Studios, water slides, a splash park, an aquarium, golf courses, to name a few, plus nature spaces like walking trails and beaches.   It's connected to Singapore by car, light rail train, and our favorite Cable Car (or what I would call Gondolas). Cable car is also our closest access point so you can imagine what we've been doing a lot of. For the cost of 2 trips we got the annual family pass. The views are spectacular.

View of Harbourfront and our neighbourhood from the cable car.
Leaving the Harbourfront station on our fist ride with the kids.

I could so this everyday. I also wonder if the car is going to fall off and we will plunge to our deaths for a moment as we leave the station and the car starts to swing freely. It's very high. A windy day is very thrilling; I probably won't do that one again. Especially now that I've figured out how to walk there along the Boardwalk, and also how to take the train, which takes minutes and is $1 each. The train's also free leaving the island.

Having the annual pass means we don't have to stand inline for tickets. There's a phone app with our member cards in it. We just take the lift up to the 15th floor and walk on as they scan our phones. Sometime if it's close to lunchtime, we may have to wait for few people to load before us. 8 people fit in a car, so most people sit with another couple or family. Because I have the double stroller, which I just wheel right in, we fill up a whole car, so it's always just us and the kids.

Cable car view of Resort World on Sentosa.
The kids love talking about what they can see from the cable car.

You could spend a million dollars on Sentosa, but we've refrained from spending money there so far, other than on meals. Sometimes I take the kids by myself just for the cable car ride, grab lunch at Subway, and then head right back home. Ask Ms.I what she wants to do today and she will say "Cable Car! See the dolphins!"

The dolphin pools we pass over in the cable cars.

Ms.E probably checking out the birds from the cable car. Mynas, Hornbills, Eagles, Gulls, ... She's wet almost to the neck from splashing around in the ocean. She's also not cold, because it is that hot.
