We took the kids out for their first restaurant meal since the Circuit Breaker.

February was the last time the kids ate out, which is about 5 months ago. We used to take them out to eat every week, so that was a huge break. They seem to have learned some skills in that time, because they were very well behaved during lunch.
We went to Hans im Gluck and ate burgers and fries, while MsE had a dessert waffle. Once we got our drinks we were allowed to take our masks off. We noticed that they didn't hand out crayons and colouring books like they used too. There are no kids meals at this place, so MsI got the same meal as the rest of us and tried to eat a burger as big as her head. We took home lots of leftovers.

We were out at lunchtime, because MsE had asked "to go an adventure". She was voting for the zoo or the aquarium, but settled for a long scenic cable car ride.
We could see Sentosa Island getting ready for National Day on our ride. National Day falls next weekend. It usually draws huge crowds together with their parade and celebrations. Last year we went to Sentosa and watched the Evening show which is always televised.
This year because of COVID-19, Singapore is splitting the airshow and parade of military vehicles into many routes across Singapore in the hopes that most people can enjoy the celebrations without leaving home. We'll watch for that and view the Evening show online too.
