Sentosa Island has Universal Studios. Apparently it's much smaller than the ones in California and Florida. It still seems to be packed with attractions, but we won't have to do as much walking. For the cost of 3 day passes, we can get the annual pass, but for a Family that's expensive so we are waiting for a special occasion.
For a wander I took the kids to find the entrance. Reminding me of Disney World's Hollywood Studios with the big movie theme music at the entrance and it's Main Street views, I sent poor Jonathan these photos at work.

Ms.C saw the Universal Globe and said "Wow! That's who makes all our favorite movies!"... and just like that now she knows why we want to go to Universal Studios.
Ms.C is tall enough for everything except the hugest roller coaster, Battlestar Galactica. Wear your tall shoes Ms.C! Jonathan and I love the TV series Battlestar Galactica, so we're have to go on that at some point without any kids. We can see people going upside down on it when we're riding the cable cars. Jonathan's not a huge fan of roller coasters so we'll see how that goes.
Ms.E can't do the biggest 3 rides: Battlestar Galactica, Revenge of the Mummy, and sadly Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure. Luckily there appears to be many other dinosaur themed things Ms.E can do. Transformers is a 3D ride, so we'll see if she's actually ready for that. Ms. I can only ride one ride. I'm thinking Jonathan and I should go by ourselves in secret the first time to figure out all the rides. Friday and Saturday nights have fireworks at 10 pm. Maybe a night there once all the local school breaks are over.

There's a themed hawker centre (food court) right beside the entrance to Universal Studios. It's called Malaysia Food Street. The food was decent, but a bit expensive in comparison to a regular hawker centre. The scene was super cool though - as you would expect from Universal Studios. Certainly a reasonably priced food option for Sentosa, probably a better option than eating inside Universal Studio too. We ate chicken and beef Satay and a shared an iced Kachang.
