Exploring Sentosa
Our guests bought the Annual Pass for the Cable Cars for $20 each (the cost of 2 trips), and then we headed out to explore Sentosa Island. Mom didn't seem to mind the heights too much; it is a beautiful view. We pointed out the Merlion and tried to get close, but it's blocked off all the way around it now in anticipation of it's upcoming demolition.
We took the cable car down to Silso Beach and found a table overlooking the water. We had some barbecued chicken and burgers. Nothing like a lime margaritas with sand on your toes.
The restaurant found a beach ball for MsI to toss around. When she lost it under the deck we joked that we couldn't go under to get it in case there was a big monitor lizard under there. 10 minutes later an actual monitor lizard did crawl out from under there!
We all had to put our feet in the ocean so after we finished lunch we went for a little splash about. The kids got soaked in the waves and we headed home all sandy for a rest.
