One Sunday MsI insisted we were all going on a Train with her.

We had no idea where she wanted to go. Turns out she had no idea either. It was the journey that mattered to her, not the destination. After some questioning, we discovered that it was a colourful train, and not an MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) that she wanted to ride, so we walked to the Sentosa Express to ride one of the colourful train cars. It's still a free ride to encourage locals on to Sentosa Island while there are still no tourists in Singapore.

When we disembarked at the last stop, and MsI looked out the window and exclaimed "Oh, It's the beach!" She really didn't know where the train ended up when she asked to ride it. We couldn't go down to the beach, but we still had a nice walk around. While looking for somewhere to eat lunch we got so hot, we had to stop and buy water, which was totally required after a very short time outside. We sat at the patio table to down our waters before continuing on.

We watched a good sized Water Monitor Lizard cross the road. MsC said she though this guy was smaller than the one I almost stepped on a few months ago. I thought this one was pretty big, maybe 3.5 feet long. MsE was worried that he was coming closer to us, but I've never seen one do anything, but completely ignore people. He was about 10 feet from us at the closest.

We had lunch at Bikini Bar (we didn't realize they had beach access until we left). We picked up some ice cream before we headed back home on the train. Before she was quite finished, MsI tripped and dropped her ice cream. I think her shoes are too big; she's in MsE's last pair. It was her 2nd fall of the day.

Daddy consoling MsI about the end of her ice cream.
