Us girls went to Universal Studios on Nov. 6, which was actually only days before our passes expired. We did get to see the Christmas displays; We just didn't realize it was going to be our last visit for possibly a long long time, and we left Jonathan at home working away.
Most of the Christmas decorations are found as you enter the park on Hollywood Blvd, and then there are some good ones on the next "street". Once you get to the about 1/4 of the way into the park, there are no more decorations. It's like this for every holiday. It makes me miss Disney, who add seasonal decorations to even the farthest reaches of their parks. But as you can see we had fun getting festive photos.

Last year we were able to get photos in this sleigh, but I think they're being more careful about what we all touch due to COVID. But there were some full photo opps. I don't want to pay for Universal's Photographer photos and no one wants to touch your phone to take a stranger's photos, so everyone is taking selfies.

We rode all our favorite rides and didn't have to deal with any holiday crowds. MsI chose Sesame Street's Spaghetti Chase.

MsE picked the space ship that spins you like the Tea Cups.

We rode the Jeep Adventure through Egypt.
MsC drove and MsI only hid her eyes at the scariest part. Honestly, MsI loves this ride. MsE and our Helper were in the car behind us. It is so much easier with 2 adults.

MsI found the footprints to stand on for social spacing in every line. These rectangle are supposed to indicate 2 people per box. We were told to split into 2 groups while standing in line.

We found some dinosaur eggs and rode the Pterosaurs.
We discovered that MsE is finally tall enough to ride Jurassic Park, but she didn't feel ready so MsC and I rode alone. We forgot our ponchos at home, but braved the water ride anyhow and thankfully didn't get soaked this time.
MsC and I also rode the big roller coaster Battlestar Galactica - Cylon, that goes upside down 5 times - we love it! We rode it close to when the park opened and basically walked on with no line.

We didn't do any of the character photos this time, but we still liked waving to the character in their Christmas costumes as we walked by. You stand in front of the characters for your picture, so they are at least 6 feet from you - no hugs here.

Good bye Universal Studios Singapore, hopefully, we will visit you again.
