Many days since Christmas have now been spent doing Lego.

The girls each got a set as a present and Jonathan went and bought some 10+ kits for himself. Jonathan says doing them has been some of the most peaceful hours he can remember. I built MsI's Duplo House Kit with MsI helping where she could and then I helped everyone else when they panicked thinking that they had lost a piece of their Lego.

Jonathan's red motorbike has real shocks, gears, a turning front wheel and a bike stand. We thought it was pretty complicated until Jonathan opened the Path Finder set with it's 2573 pieces and elaborate detailing of the engine and interior.

MsC is working her way slowly through a Harry Potter kit. She does have a habit of misplacing pieces and then we all search the floor and occasionally raid our general Lego bin to match a missing piece.

MsE is very close to finishing her Lego Friends bus. She's pretty certain that real RV's come with pools and slides now. She was very worried when she saw that her Lego set said ages 8+. Unsurprisingly to us, MsE has placed every piece just by following the guide herself.

MsE wondering if she can actually do an set for 8+
Only a few more pieces to go.
