I was on a mission for an elusive Christmas gift, so I though I would try the Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands.
I was not successful, but it was pretty cool to wander around this high end mall. In addition to a Live Theater, Casino, Hotels, some Museums, restaurants and shops, they even have an indoor canal boat ride.

I found Santa - sort of. They had Santa Statues and lots of photo opps set up for customers, and the lookie loos like me. I left the mall empty handed, which really saved our bank book.

This was my favorite Christmas set up. I did not have the guts to pretend I would buy anything in there.

There were a number of places doing High Tea. It's Singapore - High Tea is pretty popular. I also discovered the tea shop that sells loose teas with labels like "Weekend in Dubai." I generally buy my tea in Chinatown or Wet Markets, but next time I want to splurge I'll be heading here.

I was heading to the single Toy Store here, Hamley's of London, so I found myself on "Little Luxury Stars Avenue". It's an unbelievable row of children's shops, including Ferrari Store Junior; Gucci Kids; Dior Children; Ralph Lauren Children; Fendi Kids; and Versaci Children. There were some other names that I didn't recognize, but I am unlikely to ever have enough money to burn to shop in these stores anyhow. As of 2019, 4.5% of the population of Singapore were millionaires and I'm sure at least some of them shop here. It's not a very big island.

I was admiring this Minnie Mouse Purse for myself. I knew I wouldn't be buying it for the kids before I peeked in the children's store; it was $300.
