MsE has moved up from a toddler table and stool to a real desk.
She was craving a consistent space to do her drawing and writing. A place where she could leave her pencils and papers out ready to use all the time.
We had to reorganize the room, but we did fit a desk in her bedroom. We also took the handle off the window so no one can open the window and fall out.
MsE build the whole desk and swivel chair herself, including using the hammer, screw driver, and power drill herself. Jonathan just pointed out where things went and helped hold things steady for her. It took a while to get the Ikea desk with it's drawer and shelves together, because MsE seriously did every screw and peg herself.
They started by spreading MsE's carpet on the living room floor to have a softer place to work. We didn't want to scratch the marble floors.
MsE loves her new desk, and Jonathan obviously has a lot of patience to have let MsE put it together herself.
