$65 on 2.5 burgers and a plate of fries We ate lunch at 3 Buns near Clarke Quay. Eating hamburgers on a patio was nice, but the price was deadly. $65 for a light lunch for the 4 of us.
Friends of Wildlife and the Singapore Zoo - Day 7: June 14, 2019 We got ourselves the local resident "Friends of Wildlife" Pass today, which gets us annual admission to the 4 wildlife parks in Singapore. Sounds silly, but I was giddy to get a resident rate. I'm always jealous of people and their local zoos.
The Free Spaces at Gardens at the Bay - Day 6 - June 13, 2019 Wow! I’m so impressed. I took so many photos at Gardens by the Bay and we didn’t even enter the paid conservatory spaces or the Children’s Garden. I could wander around here all day.
Moving to Singapore Bus Woes - Day 4 Trying to get a sense of areas, we headed to Tiong Bahru for dinner. We took the bus as the Hawker Centre is about a 10 min walk from the MRT. Figuring out the bus route did not go well.
Moving to Singapore Pool Friends and Tiong Bahru - Day 3: Monday June 10, 2019 Tiong Bahru is considered a hip part of town with older walk-up condo, and some newer high rises. It’s full of shops, cafes, and bakeries with a bit of French feel.

Moving to Singapore Hello Singapore - Day 1 - Saturday June 8, 2019 We finally made it to Singapore this morning. We missed our connecting flight in Hong Kong so we were delayed about 5 hours. We left Victoria at 1 pm on Thursday and arrived at our hotel at 7 am Saturday (4 pm Vancouver/Pacific Time).
