Homeschooling Marine Explorers Completion We have just one month left on our Aquarium Annual Pass, so we figured we should try to fit in a few more visits.
Nature Stroll to Swan Lake Back on the Main Path, we found ourselves at Swan Lake. I though perhaps the pond was named after the statue in it's midst, but then we saw the real swans.
Tea TWG Tea I wondered how the waterfall in the Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands worked. There was just a round hole in the ceiling and no water running whenever I walked by.
Homeschooling Lego Many days since Christmas have now been spent doing Lego. The girls each got a set as a present and Jonathan went and bought some 10+ kits for himself. Jonathan says doing them
Nature Admiralty Park Before we moved to Singapore, I showed the girls a video of the what was considered the best playground in Singapore. We finally visited it.
Holidays Christmas Eve 2020 After the kids were all snug in their beds and finally asleep on Christmas Eve, I discovered Jonathan snoring away.
Holidays Christmas Festivities Some of the other Christmas festivities we got up to before Christmas, included:
Holidays Marina Bay Sands Shopping I was on a mission for an elusive Christmas gift, so I though I would try the Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands.
Holidays Toddler Christmas Shopping In the last days before Christmas I took MsI shopping for her sisters' presents.
Holidays Vivo's Christmas Decor The malls are very festive. The decore we've seen in Vivocity Mall is themed around the Nutcracker.
Holidays Secret Santa Meetings Santa can't be found in the mall this year, but a very special friend of ours arranged some private, socially distanced meetings with Santa.
Photos Jonathan's been taking fantastic photos with his new Android phone, and I thought I'd just share them here.
Holidays Christmas Decorations We decorated early this year, right at after we took down the Deepavali decorations in mid November. We let the kids decorate the tree any which way they wanted.
Homeschooling November Homeschool Highlights Here's some of our highlights from homeschooling this November.
Homeschooling Indian Heritage Centre To wrap up our Ancient India Social Studies unit, we planned a visit to the Indian Heritage Centre. MsC and I took a new exit from the MRT, and started our morning by being "lost" in Little India.
Nature Venturing into the Park MsE asked to visit the sand playground and we literally ran out of the house to accommodate her - to get to the sand playground you have to pass the trees where the monkeys live and MsE knew it.
Nature Bad Monkey MsE and I had an appointment to talk about how hard MsE finds it to leave the house some days.
