I'm so frustrated that perfect strangers touch the Littles when we are out in public.

They pat MsE's curly hair. They pick up MsI. They touch their faces and pinch their cheeks. They poke MsI in the belly. They don't stop when the girls physically turn away or say no. These adults don't seem to even understand what I'm taking about if I ask them to stop or try to explain that the girls don't like that.

If we can we just politely leave or remove the child, but often we can't move away.

Yesterday on the train back from Sentosa Island, it was so full we were all standing shoulder to shoulder with people. It's probably at 10 minute ride. MsE was in the only available seat looking out the window. A woman picked her up and moved her out of the way. She sat down in MsE's seat - essentially causing them to share one small seat together. I thought that was rude enough, but then the patting starts. MsE was uncomfortable so I got her to get in her seat in the back of the stroller.

MsI was strapped into the front of the stroller, essentially an inch from this woman's leg. Because MsE was gone, the woman started in on the patting of hair and stroking of MsI's face. MsI was turning her head as far away as she could while being strapped in and this woman didn't seem to see her discomfort. I finally pulled the canopy of the stroller over in front of MsI's face so the woman couldn't touch her anymore. By that time our train ride was pretty much over anyhow.

This scenario repeats at least once a week; Probably more like every other time we leave the house.
