SDL: Day 18 - Happy Easter

My sweet big girls were up early on Easter Morning, and thought the Easter Bunny didn't make it to our house due to COVID19.

They hid a bunch of Paper Eggs around the house so that MsI would have an Easter Egg Hunt when she woke up. In reality, the girls were just up before Mom and the Easter Bunny had indeed come with little presents and an Easter egg hunt to complete.

MsC gave out sock bunnies she made yesterday. I read the Easter story from the Children's Bible while the girls coloured their own Easter Baskets. We made the baskets from paper plates so they had something to collect their candy eggs in.

After our Easter egg hunt there was a quick math lesson to make sure we had all the eggs. Only missing one; We found it before the ants.

We attended church on the couch in our Easter dresses. Jonathan said something about how he didn't realize the pandemic was going to have him in church this morning. MsC and I sang along with the songs.  There was some dancing by MsI.

It may be the first time since I had kids that I actually got to listen to the Easter sermon - I usually have to run off with small children before the service gets to that part.
