Many of the neighbour kids are on Spring Break for the next few weeks. They decided to make some money.
MsC went to a friends to play, but came back asking for the dairy free butter. She wanted to be able to eat the muffins they were about to make. The rest of the butter was returned, as they asked me to buy their muffins. I was only allowed to buy 4. They went to the Clubhouse Pool to sell the rest. It's a high traffic area - they know where they will find the most people.
Later in the day, Kickie got off school and taught the girls how to make Homemade Lemonade. She swore all of her girlfriends to secrecy, before teaching them how to make it. At that point there were 6 kids involved. They each took a different role apparently: a number of them squeezed lemons, one added sugar, one stirred. MsE was the taste tester. It was really good Lemonade. They made it very tart!
They sold the Lemonade on the playground at 5 pm. It was sold out shortly. No one will tell me the recipe.

The next day, MsC and MsE kicked me out of the kitchen, because it's a "secret recipe," and made Lemonade again. There was a lot of lemon squeezing, a lot of laughter, and some juice in the eye.
I kept peeking through the door. They let me take a few photos, as they're used to my photo documenting things they do for school. As far as I can tell it's lemons, sugar and water (and maybe a lime). There didn't seem to be much measuring, and they were still sparing with the sugar. MsC did let slip that you need to make sure to use "cold water." MsE was the official taste tester again.
This jug was drank with our stories for Tea Time. Then I ordered more lemons.
