Swinging by Hort Park

The Littles and I headed to Hort Park while MsC was at class.

We started with the turtles. There are many more turtles there than we originally thought a few weeks ago. Most are the size of an adult's hand, but MsI was quite concerned that the largest one "Will eat you!"

MsE making sure we knew there was a giant turtle there.

MsE ran ahead to try to snag us the park swing. It's right near the start of the park and a popular hang out. It was free and we ate our snack on it, and then had a good swing.

After that we went for a bit of walk, sticking to the main paths because we had the stroller. We had plenty of time to get back to pick up MsC, but being not one to leave good enough alone, I noticed a different exit from the park and thought I'd just try it. Of course it got me out no where near where I thought it would and then I didn't have time to go back into the park and start again. I was worried I would be late, but walking at super speed with the kids got me there on time. It was peak commute time, but the seas of people waiting at each bus stop parted quickly when they saw me approaching at a clip with bulky giant stroller.
