MsC and her friend made our "tea" by themselves the other day.

They made homemade lemonade, according to the secret recipe, cut up apples, and re-heated pancakes that we ate with jam. In honour of their contribution, I pulled out table cloths, candles, and the "good" china.

"What you've had these tea cups all along?!!!?", shrieked MsC.

We always use tea cups with saucers, but I keep my most special ones hidden away in the cupboard above the fridge. I don't think I've used the good china in Singapore, so the girls just assumed it hadn't made the move.

Now MsI isn't satisfied with tea in a nice cup; it has to be in the fine china.
