Universal Studios Singapore closes early in the off-season. We decided to go Sunday after nap time, and were there from just before 4 until closing at 6 pm. With the Express pass, we got lots in in just 2 hours. I think 3 hours would have been perfect.

We knew Ms.I probably wouldn't ride anything, and she didn't. Ms.E wanted to ride the Far Far Away "Dragon Roller Coaster". I had the honor of riding beside her. I thought this was a jr. roller coaster. It is not. I screamed; I think my scream scared Ms.E more than the ride.

I can't believe I let Ms.E ride a roller coaster by herself. Why am I am not surprised that Ms.C is totally unphased by it? Don't worry it wasn't the roller coaster you can see in the top photo: that's Battlestar Galactica.

Ms.E was pretty serious waiting for her ride.
Right before I realized this was an actual roller coaster. Ms.E knew what was coming. She was hanging on while I was busy snapping pics
Egypt in Universal Studio.

Ms.C was going to try riding Egypt's Mummy ride with me for the first time. Sadly the ride was down.

Seeing as I'd already been on one roller coaster that day, I figured I should try Battlestar Galactica. I ended up on the Human side. It does NOT go upside down on the Human side. I had front row. I screamed and screamed. And, it is really really fun! The theming as you walk on is great too. I love Adma's pep talk to us fighter pilots.

White knuckled and laughing on Battlestar Gallactica, Human Experience.

The Express ride wait time was longer than we expected, about 30 minutes to get through the line, ride and walk out. I imagine the closure of the Mummy ride made the line here longer than usual.

We had a thrill of another type too. A Raptor was brought out. It was roaring and thrashing around in it's pen. The Keepers kept the crowd way back for safety. The kids were pretty sure this guy was real deal.

This Raptor was pretty intense.

I think all of us would agree it was a thrilling way to spend the afternoon.
