What's the difference between going to the Doctor's in Canada and going to the Doctor's in Singapore?
About an hour's wait!
We've been to the neighbourhood clinic a few times now. I always go on a weekday and the wait is non-existent. It's probably longer on the weekend.
Yesterday, there was no one in front of us. We were seen right away. Last time we waited about 10 minutes. There's also just one doctor and so just one large examination room where the doctor awaits you.
The doctor is very through. He ask lots of questions and very personable with the kids. He tends to explain stuff quite well. We don't feel rushed. He also always asks the girls things like, "Do you want to be a good girl? Or a very good girl?," but that's Singapore.
After we see the Doctor we're told to go wait in the Waiting Room and the Assistant calls us once the Doctor has written up any prescriptions or instructions for us and then ensures our insurance covers the visit or get us to pay. We paid for our flu shots when we went a few months ago, but regular visits are covered by our extended insurance.
