The malls are very festive. The decore we've seen in Vivocity Mall is themed around the Nutcracker.

MsE and I found a new Tea Shop, called Strait Place 1819, when we were doing her shopping. She was thrilled because our table had a porch swing for one of the set of chairs. We had tea, orange juice and vanilla ice creams with strawberry sauce. They have a long list of specialty teas, including a $20 pot of Pu'er tea (Chinese fermented tea). I only tried the lovely Rainforest Oolong though. They sell tea leaves for purchase too.

When MsC did her shopping, we ate lunch in the Food Court, but we also checked out the roof even though it was raining.

The main mall's decorations are quite tasteful. I can't say the same for most of the shops. The christmas trees are generally very tacky and often just a bit weird. Last year, that drove me a little crazy, but this year I love them, because they are so Singapore.
